The 2 day intensive, hands-on training from Spa Vision Academy is taught by industry professionals and discusses how lasers and IPL technology work to perfect client’s skin and bodies.
Information on the most commonly used dermatologic lasers and their parameters will be presented. An overview of the anatomy and physiology of skin and hair is included to provide participants a deeper level of learning.
Once the basics are established, and participants have a good understanding of what they are parameters for permanent hair reduction, photofacial, vascular & pigmented lesions, and tattoo removal will be an taught as part of the course.
The training will also include Laser and IPL mediated skin tightening and resurfacing, acne treatment, pigmentation and vascular lesions removal, skin typing, operational and treatment safety measures.
Discussion of the management and treatment of adverse events, the benefits, expected results and outcomes, and available alternative treatments will be covered. Focus on patient consultation, selection and education, safety and efficacy issues and important criteria for a successful treatment are included in the program.
